A combination of both our perimeter tick control and outdoor pest control. This program is for properties with both tick and mosquito problems. Six applications timed to control for ticks, mosquitos, chinch bugs, cutworms and fleas.
Ask about this new tick and mosquito control option. An effective, elegant solution to pest control that is both kosher and organic, our organic tick and mosquito control uses cedar and raspberry oil for knockdown and residual control of these biting pests.
The Perimeter Tick Control applications will be applied in April, May and October.
The Comprehensive Outdoor Pest is four applications. The first application is applied between May and June (we try to get them done around Memorial Day Weekend), and follow ups are scheduled approximately 4 weeks apart. The final application is applied Aug/Sep. With our standard, full program, you are entitled to unlimited service calls.
We apply an insecticide to the trees and shrubs around your property to kill and repel unwanted insects. These are a class of chemicals called pyrethroids which are derived from pyrethrin, which occurs naturally in chrysanthemum flowers.
We can get excellent control of mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and no-see-ums. We have not had great results with greenheads/horseflies.
This program works best when applied to plants around your property. Many of our stone weed control customers are not good candidates for our outdoor pest services because they have no vegetation on the property, or they are too close to the water. We are always happy to come out for a free estimate and make some recommendations.
Pyrethroids are found in most home insect control products. They have minimal toxicity to mammals and are included in many Frontline type products you would give to your dogs and cats to prevent fleas and ticks.
They are absolutely safe to use on your property, but they are designed to kill insects so it is important that you stay off the treated areas until the materials have dried.
We offer a 100% organic outdoor pest control program. It does not kill insects but does repel them effectively. We schedule our visits more frequently and do not offer free resprays with our organic program, but we have received great feedback from our customers on it.
If you have a sever infestation we recommend one pyrethroid based application as a “knockdown” and then we can switch to organic for the rest of the season.
